Department of Industrial Management National Taiwan University of Science and Technology
The Department of Industrial Management at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) invites applications for several tenured/tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty positions. The Department is the top Industrial Management program in Taiwan. It offers BBA, MBA, and PhD degrees in Industrial Management, and currently has an undergraduate enrollment of about 310 and a graduate enrollment of about 250. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the qualification of the applicant. Candidates are sought with interests that complement and expand upon current research and teaching activities in the Department. Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
● operations research
● production management
● ergonomics
● information technology
● intelligent operation
● advanced manufacturing
● global logistics management
● service management
Applicants with expertise in analytics, data science, or artificial intelligence are
particularly encouraged to apply. Successful applicants are required to have an earned PhD in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology or a related field. They are expected to develop and maintain a strong research program, to teach courses in English at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to provide service to the University and broader community.
